Invisible, noisy, blockbuster, consultant

Talked to my consultant today
Wanted a raise, need more pay.

He said,"sure", and handed me an envelope.
"It's empty!", I said, "You think I’m a dope?!"

It’s invisible, he said, till you work harder,
Make a blockbuster sale, like a winner, not a martyr!

I pushed my chair back, and yelled. " No way!!"
"Not so noisy", he said, "you know what they say;..."

"I'm not cheap, but I am on special this week!"
And out the door went my big boss creep.
