Since a message from the grave is the focus of this thread, and the following reflects sentiments of my own heart, I'll put this here. It's actually in honor of my dear friend, Pat! I did NOT write it, but acknowledge it's on one side of Patti's funeral home remembrance card. The words are so beautiful, I want to share them with you.

AFTERGLOW

I'd like the memory of me to
be a happy one, I'd like to
leave an afterglow of smiles
when life is done. I'd like to
leave an echo whispering
softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing
times and bright and sunny days.

I'd like the tears of those who
grieve, to dry before the sun
Of happy memories that I leave
When life is done.

LOVE YOU PATTI
