I've tried the sublingual B12. I can't tell it helps which it would only if I was deficient which I guess I'm not.
The reason to take it sublingual or sub cutaneous is that it is not metabolized in the intestines if the intrinsic factor is impaired as it often is with alcoholism, certain drugs and possibly stress. I take small pills that dissolve under the tongue, but they're not much help energy wise.
I too spend too much time on the computer. It's so easy to just pick up the laptop every time I sit down. But I console myself that it is better than watching TV.
